Several of my plants, azeleas and trees have black spots on the leaves. Am I watering them too much or is this a disease? Thank you! |
Paula, Black sots are usually due to a fungus or bacterial disease. That said, most diseases affect only one species of plants. The fact that you have these spots on several species is very unusual.I suggest you place some leaves from various plants into ziplock bags and take them to your local County Extension Office and see if they can look them over and identify the cause(s). Their contact information is: Hillsborough Extension Service 5339 County Rd 579 Seffner, Fl., 33584-3334 813-744-5519 Thanks for the question. Please stop in again soon! |
