i live in dallas and want to start a veggie garden. i have seeds for all sorts of veggies and want to get started in the germination process. can i start this process this time of year

Chris,

Yes you can plant some things out in the garden now and start some in a bright area with some mid to late day shade outdoors for planting the transplants out into the garden later in the season. This following web site provides info on when to plant vegetables in your area:
