I bought Lilies of the Valley in Spring but didn't get a chance to plant. Will they survive and come back next Spring if I plant them in the Fall?

Your Convallaria majalis, or Lily-of-the-valley, really needs to be planted in the ground now. If you don't, the pips will die before next spring. Go ahead and plant them now. With any luck they'll put out some foliage before frost which will help replenish their stored carbohydrates. If so, they'll be ready to grow next spring.
Hope so!
