| I'm afraid the fruit is not edible. The wax of the seeds is harvested and can be used as a substitute for vegetable oil in cooking, but it's an extensive process to extract the wax and a bit iffy because other parts of the plants are toxic. So I would just use it as an ornamental and not plan on using any of the fruit or seeds. My research does not indicate that it will drop sap on sidewalks. Hope this answers all your questions! |
