Hi,
I bought some perennials and was wondering if I should cut them down in the fall or just leave them the way they are: Sweet Williams

There's always some controversy about cutting perennials down in the fall. I prefer to leave mine alone until early spring. Although you could remove the dead foliage after the first frost, if you leave it in the garden it will help insulate the roots of the plants over the winter months. Then in early spring you can remove all the debris and your plants will spring right up. Enjoy your garden!
