I have tried to grow Rosemary many times and it keeps dying. I have tried to root it 1st in water or just put in ground after cutting it off a healthy bush.
It continues to die. I was watering it in morn and nite then tried another bunch w/limited watering.
What is secret to growing rosemary?

Deborah,

The following web site provides info on rooting cuttings. Rosemary will root readily but don't do it in water, use a loose potting medium or perlite. You may need to provide a humid chamber to prevent drying out. Avoid direct sunlight too, just provide a bright area out of direct light.

Note figure 2 for a mini greenhouse structure for rooting.
