hi one of my yards is completely infested with one type of weeds, it smells and i want to know what to do to get rid of it.how can you tell if your yard may be diseased. we bought vigoro weed and feed, but i don't think that will work right now.also my lawn has alot of bugs, so we just bought today cutter bug free the spray and fog is this a good product to use. we want to get started on that soon, just waiting until wind is calm. about my yard,my husband flipped the yard we did not seed right away, actually not at all, and the next thing you know the yard is full with this stuff, it is one type look like crabgrass, but i dont think it's that one. he wants to do it again i say no. help please! just to let you know you gave me advice before i burned my grass and you told me to take it out and reseed it is coming along. what is the best grass to buy that perennialn is not all that great which i have planted, i need to fill in some spots and reseed some areas, but i don't want to use the perennial rye grass, can i mix two grasses and what is the best one to mix with this grass. thank you for all your help.

Without knowing what the weed is, I can't really suggest a control. Why not take a sample or two to your local cooperative extension office or garden center? They can probably identify the weed for you and recommend control strategies. The extension office can also recommend the best grass types to grow in your local area.
