| Ferns are woodland plants so they will grow best in cool, moist soils in shady areas. If your ferns are not doing well, I'd suggest digging them up, amending the soil with compost or peat moss to help it hold moisture without becoming soggy wet and then replanting them. They should be watered every 4-5 days in the summer time. I think you'll see a big difference in them once they have their feet in moist soil. Enjoy your garden! |
