I live on a small horse ranch and use the straw and manure on my garden. How much is to much? The area is about 20 x 20.

It is possible to over-do so make sure the horse manure is aged for at least a year (to leach out urea) and then spread a 4-5" layer over the top of the bed. Dig it in to a depth of 8-10" and you'll have rich, loamy soil in which to plant.
