white spot on Sago Palms - Knowledgebase Question

I have sago palms that have tiny white spots all over them, what is it and how do I get rid of them, is it hurting the plant?

Pat,

Those may be scale, or mealybugs, or some other such insect. Take a sample to your County Extension Office for them to look over and diagnose. With the insect identified a correct remedy can be prescribed.
