The Q&A Archives: hydrangea

Question: I have about 24 a--all healthy--Iwant to divide them-- they have flowered-- what is best time to divide them-- i live in zone 6

Answer: Either spring or fall are the best times to dig and divide. You can do it now. Don't wait too late in the year or they won't have a chance to recover before cold weather arrives and that will delay their leafing out and flowering next year. Enjoy!
