| Gardening in Moscow, Russia is probably like gardening in Northern New England or the Upper Midwest in this country. The growing season is intense, but short. I would concentrate on cool season vegetables such a broccoli, cabbage, kale, spinach, peas, carrots, onions, lettuce and potatoes. To grow warm season crops such as tomatoes, peppers, beans and cucumbers, I'd focus on varieties that do well in cool climates and don't take long to mature. Tomato varieties such as 'Northern Exposure', 'Stupice' and 'Siberia', peppers such as 'Gpysy', cucumbers such as 'Salad Bush' and any bush bean varieties. Sqaushes and pumpkins probably would grow well in their climate also.
