The Q&A Archives: Spring bulb planting

Question: I live in Southwest Oklahoma, upper south according to the zone guide on this web site. When do I plant spring blooming bulbs such as tulips?

Answer: You can plant spring flowering bulbs as soon as they are available in your area (usually September or October). They will rest all winter, then develop roots and finally will send up a flowering stem. Enjoy!
