The Q&A Archives: Best time to plant landscape plants like camellias

Question: When can I begin to plant?

Answer: You can plant landscape plants any time the ground is not frozen. I try to avoid the heat of summer, planting most of my shrubs and trees in the spring or in the fall when the temperatures are cooler and rainfall abundant. This lessens the stress the plants experience.

Best wishes with your landscape!
