Lady Bank's climbing rose would grow in your region but it may remain only semi-evergreen during the months of January and February. Other choices include star jasmine (Trachelospermum jasminoides), white potato vine (Solanum jasminoides) and pink jasmine (Jasminum polyanthum). Violet trumpet vine (Clytostoma callistegioides) would also be an appropriate selection except that it is slower growing than your other choices. Hope this short list helps you choose just the right plant for your landscape!
