The Q&A Archives: daylilies

Question: Last year I planted daylilies. I get alot of foliage, but no flowers. They are in an area with some sun and then shade? Do they need full sun?

Answer: Daylilies grow and flower best in full sunshine. While they will grow in partial shade, they won't bloom as well as those in full sun. I'd move the plants this fall to a sunnier location. They should bloom all next summer for you. Enjoy!
