WHEN I PLANT MUMS THE BUDS TURN BROWN, WHY?

Blight or gray mold can cause unopened chrysanthemum flower buds to turn brown. Pick off the affected buds to keep the disease from spreading. Uninfected flower buds should open for you. Enjoy!
