There are lists of deer resistant plants, but hungry deer will eat almost anything so there are no guarantees. Here's a partial list of shade loving plants deer generally ignore: Flowers - Columbine Astilbe spp.; Astilbe; Dicentra spp. Bleeding Heart; Digitalis spp. Foxglove; Epimedium spp. Epimedium; Cranesbill Geranium; Helleborus spp. Hellebore; Iris spp. Iris; Lychnis coronaria Rose Campion; Narcissus spp. Daffodil; Pulmonaria spp. Lungwort. Vines: Clematis spp. Clematis; Hedera helix baltica Baltic Ivy. Shrubs: Amorpha canescens Lead Plant; Caragana arborescens 'Sutherland' Sutherland Caragana; Caragana arborescens 'Lorbergi' Fernleaf Caragana; Caragana aurantiaca Pygmy Caragana; Caragana frutex Russian Caragana; Caragana frutex; Ceanothus velutinus Snowbush Ceanothus; Cornus sericea Red Osier Dogwood; Cornus stolonifera Osier Dogwood; Kolkwitzia amabilis Beautybush; Philadelphus spp. Mockorange; Viburnum opulus Highbush Cranberry Hope this information is helpful!
