I have several ornamental grasses that I started in a flower bed and now they need to be transplanted. Is it better to do it now or wait until spring and do I trim them back now or before they are transplanted?

Thanks much!

Ornamental grasses are best cut back in the spring in preparation for new growth. I would wait until early spring to groom and transplant the grasses. At that time they will be ready to grow and to replace the lost foliage. Best wishes with your garden!
