Both your peach and your apple tree will need another tree of the same type in order to produce fruit. They cannot pollinate each other. Elberta peach trees are normally planted in pairs so they can pollinate each other. Red delicious apple trees must be pollinated by another apple tree. Golden Delicious and Gala are good varieties to plant for cross pollination.

Best wishes with your new orchard!
