I found a bag of crocus bulbs in the garage that have to be at least 4 years old. Do I just pitch them or will they grow after all of this time?

After four years of storage, I don't think there's much hope in their sprouting for you next winter/spring. I'd toss them and purchase healthy new bulbs. Plant them immediately and you'll be rewarded with beautiful flowers next year. Enjoy!
