I HAVE JUST STARTED SOME SEEDS FROM MY PASSION FRUIT VINE, 5 HAVE COME UP. WILL THEY FRUIT AND IF SO HOW OLD WILL THE PLANT NEED TO BE TO REACH FRUITING MATURITY? IF SEEDS STARTS ARE NOT GUARANTEED TO FRUIT THEN ARE STARTS FROM CUTTINGS AND IF SO HOW LONG,ETC. |
Scott, The seedlings will eventually fruit and the length of time depends on many factors including temperature, soil, nutrition, light, and genetic variability between seedlings. I would say that if your plants are large enough they may fruit next spring if not they should fruit the following spring. Thanks for the question. Please stop in again soon! |
