| Barbara, Ideally after blooming. However it is getting late because they will attempt to regrow and be more cold susceptible as a result. I would wait until next year after the bloom season and if you can't wait then prune in late winter and expect less blooms next summer if the pruning is extensive. Thanks for the question.
