I just bought a silver lace vine this spring and it's doing exceptionally well. Do I need to prune it or just let nature take it's course? If pruning is recommended, how much and when? |
Silver lace vine can be pruned back as hard as desired in the late winter or early spring each year. (Many gardeners find it needs a very hard pruning to keep the size under control.} It blooms on new growth of the season and the pruning helps stimulate new wood and more blooms by keeping the plant vigorous. Enjoy! |
