We are growing tomatoes inside our home, we believe they are starting to bud, are they self fruitful or do we need to pollinate them, and if so how?

Tomatoes are self-fruitful, but they do need wind or rubbing or some motion for the flowers to pollinate. An open window, a fan or you shaking the plant daily inthe morning may be enough for pollination. If you have a greenhouse, grow lights or halide lights you can get good tomato production. Without these, you probably won't get much production from tomatoes indoors.
