The Q&A Archives: how protect my fruit tree

Question: I have some fruit trees in my back yard like persimmon , date tree, pomegranate tree etc... It's time for the fruits to rip. I would like to protect my beautiful fruits form squirrels . How can I take care of my fruits from squirrels ?

Answer: Birds and animals seem to know exactly when the fruit is ripe! The best way to protect the fruit on your trees is to cover the trees with birdnetting. It is relatively inexpensive and reuseable year after year.

Good luck with your fruit trees!
