| Every year I start new Morning Glories,Moon Flowers. 4 O'Clocks and Hyacinth Beans. They are impossible to nick! Do you know an easier way,do you have to nick them? Try as I may, they don't nick well and my hands hurt so badly from tryng to hold them to nick them. Thank You, Syd Christen |
| One way is to use a small file--and file the surface a little. (I've used one of those small woodworkers' files that are triangular in cross section.) You're right--it's a quite literally a pain. But I've also had just as goodluck simply soaking the seeds in warm water for 24 hours before planting. I'm going to stick with the soaking! |
