There are a number of bamboos that will adapt to growing indoors. Your choice depends upon the lighting conditions. For instance, for bright light situations you can grow Bambusa multiplex (?Alphonse Karr?); Bambusa multiplex 'Riviereorum' (Chinese Goddess); Bambusa. multiplex (?Silver Stripe?); Bambusa ventricosa (Buddha Belly); or Otatea accuminata ?Aztecorum?. For moderate light, you can grow Chusquea delicatula; Pleioblastus fortunei (Dwarf Whitestripe); Pleioblastus viridistriatus
(Dwarf Greenstripe); Semiarundinaria fastuosa 'Viridis' ('Viridis' or "Green Temple Bamboo"); or Yushania anceps 'Pitt White'. If the light is low, try Chimonobambusa marmorea 'Variegata'; Hibanobambusa tranquillans 'Shiroshima'; Indocalamus tessellatus; or Pleioblastus pygmaeus (Pygmy bamboo). Hope this short list is helpful!
