I have just planted 3 cleveland ornamental pear trees, is there anything special I should do to protect them for the winter?

Most ornamental pear trees do not need any special treatment over the winter months. Be sure to water them deeply once each week to help the root systems become established and refrain from feeding or pruning until springtime. Your new trees should be just fine. Enjoy!
