I would like to purchase Nadinas for a small area and want to make sure I get the correct variety. We need them to fill out a small area, and not get tall. I heard once that the there another variety other than drawf that would be best.

Dedra,
Nandinas sometimes suffer in the high pH soils of your area. If you mix a lot of compost or better yet peat moss into the soil that should help some. There are several varieties that do well and stay small. Harbor Dwarf, Firepower and Gulf Stream are three good choices.
