I am interested in knowing when and how to prune this tree? I planted it about 6 months ago, and it is coming up on October and I just wanted to make sure that I maintained it well, so that it would bloom again. Thank you for any information that you might be able to provide me.

Thanks

Bradford pear trees should be pruned in the winter when they are dormant. Pear trees bloom on the sharp, short spurs that grow between its branches so leave as many of those as possible during your pruning session and you'll have lots of flowers. Enjoy!
