We live in FL and planted Asian Jasmine as a replacement for our lawn. It has done very well until this past summer. It started losing its leaves and the roots have turned a grayish color. We had lots of rain, could this have caused it? We live near the water.

Laura,
It could be due to the rain if the soil stayed too soggy wet for too long. If it doesn't recover next year you might want to contact your County Extension Office and see about having some plant samples analyzed for possible disease problems.
