Dividing white Shasta Daisies - Knowledgebase Question

My Shasta daisies are in big clumps that us stay green all winter. I have done some dividing in the spring but would like to know if it is ok to divide it the fall

Shasta daisies tend to grow outward in a clump and the centers of the plants eventually die out. When this happens, you can dig and divide the plant into several sections. Just make sure each division has both roots and stems attached. Fall is an excellent time to dig and divide your Shasta daisies. I'd go ahead and do it now.
