Answer: Don't despair! The presence of moss usually indicates poor drainage, very acid soil, shade, low fertility or excess moisture, on second thought...despair just a little! But, follow that up with a bit of work. To eliminate it, figure out which of those conditions apply to your situation and get back to us. There are things to do which will be a big help.
