We bought and planted Kanga Orange Joey Paws this year. Do we need to dig it up and bring it indoors or will it winter o.k.? Also, gardenia?

Your Joey Paws is only hardy to 25-30F so it won't survive outdoors in your gardening region. Pot it up and take it indoors before the weather gets too cold. It grows best in warmth and bright light (direct sunshine is okay indoors). Your gardenia is frost tender and should be grown indoors over the winter months. Hose it off well before bringing it indoors (in case there are spider mites or other pests hanging out among the leaves). Best wishes with your garden!
