Will Clematis' grow where I live? What are some good vines to grow and make a screen?

Yes. one is particular, Clematis reticulata, also called Leather Flower, does well in North and Central Florida. This clematis should be planted where it will get 4 or 5 hours of sun a day. It does well in well drained, sandy soil. A support must be provided for it to run on.
