If your pot is made of terra cotta it will shatter if allowed to freeze so you'll want to move the pot to a protected place. Strawberries are hardy plants and actually require a cool season but when grown in a container their roots require extra protection from the cold. You will need to protect them by placing the container in a sheltered yet cool spot such as an unheated garage. Make sure the roots do not dry out completely, but do not overwater as that may cause rot. In spring, set the jar outside as soon as possible so the plants can come out of dormancy naturally with the weather.
