It's getting a little late in the year to start a new lawn. If you seed now the grass seeds may germinate, but they won't have time to establish a good root system before winter weather sets in. If you have an established lawn and simply want to overseed, you can do it now, because the existing lawn will provide protection for the newly emerging blades of grass. But, if you're starting a new lawn, I'd wait until spring. Best wishes with your lawn! |
