I just purchased some Merry Berry Holly and China Girl Holly shrubs. I want to know if they are fast or slow growers. I want to use them as a hedge so if they are NOT fast growers can you recommend some that are. Thank You.

Your new hollies are considered moderate growers and you can expect 6-8" of new growth each year. For a fast growing evergreen shrub, you might consider Nandina, or Heavenly Bamboo. It grows to 9' with a 7' spread at a fast growth rate of 12-18 inches per year. English Yew is also a good hedging plant choice and it grows about 12" per year. Hope this information helps!
