I want to send plumeria cuttings from CA to NJ.
How do I prepare the cuttings for mailing?
I am thinking of just wrapping each spear with suran platic and use lots of cushining material in a box.
Maybe I should use newspaper instead of suran platic so the the plumeria can breath? Any help would be appreciated. Jimmy

For best results, wrap the cut ends in moistened spaghnum moss and then wrap the entire cutting in newspaper. If you have several cuttings, wrap them individually as above and then set them all in a plastic wrap lined box or shipping container. The plastic wrap will keep the moisture contained in the box but not hold it against the cuttings. If you ship them overnight express, they shouldn't suffer too much trauma.

Good luck with your project!
