I have a lovely crop of Brussel Sprouts ready for eating. I had heard that we needed a frost before they should be picked. Is that true?

Not true. You can harvest whenever they are the correct size for the variety you're growing. Some gardeners feel that they become sweeter after experiencing a frost, but I prefer to harvest when they are full size.

Enjoy!
