The Q&A Archives: When to move a bradford pear

Question: I have a bradford pear that I need to move. When is the best time to do this? I live in the southern part of Alabama. Thanks

Answer: Laura,
Now is the best time. By moving it in late fall it will have the most time to settle in and start to establish roots before the really hot stressful weather of summer arrives.
