Brenda,

Some types of passion vine are dependably hardy in your area while others are not. The fact that the flower is purple doesn't provide enough information to determine whether or not it is hardy in the Tulsa, Oklahoma area. My best guess is that it will be hardy in your area but there are some purple types that are not. If you want to hedge your bets a little you could keep it in the pot in a very bright window area and provide some outdoor sun exposure on mild days winter season, and then planted out in the landscape after the danger of frost has passed in spring.
