When is the best time to prune my rhododendron bush?

In the spring, immediately after flowering has finished is the best time to prune your rhododendron. Rhodies spend all summer developing flower buds for the following spring's display - if you prune now, you'll prune off all the flower buds. Wait until flowering has finished and then prune. Enjoy your garden!
