i trim my roses a couple of times a year but they still get so tall they bloom all the tme they are beautiful but how can i keep them like a bush? |
Jannie, Your soil is probably pretty fertile and you may be over fertilizing them. However the variety is obviously a large variety also. I suggest you cut them back by half or more in February and then cut them back by 1/3 in August. In between some light shearing is okay between bloom cycles. This should be helpful in keeping them bushier. Finally make sure they are in full sun since shady spots result in lankier growth trying to reach better light. |
