| How do I get rid of what I call Palmettos. You see these plants in wooded areas either in wetlands or very close. How do I keep getting more and more. I thought they only grew in wetlands. How do I get rid of them and keep them from spreading. Roundup will not kill them. |
| Gerald, Your options are to either dig them out which is a chore but can be done, or to treat them with an agricultural type brush killer or a combination of two products. However these products are not available to the home garden market to my knowledge. Your Parish Extension Agent may be aware of something available over the counter that you may be able to use. |
