The Q&A Archives: planting calla lillie bulbs

Question: Is it too late or cold (49 degrees) to plant my calla lillie bulbs?

Answer: Calla lily bulbs are not frost hardy so save your bulbs for planting in the spring. Store them in a cool, dry place such as a garage until winter weather is gone, then plant them in your garden (or in pots sunk into the garden) to enjoy next summer.
