| I have bought my first ever house in July in Houston and have been mowing and watering it in summer and early fall. I was wondering what are the lawn care tips during winter? Does it need any special type of fertilizer? Is there any need for new lawn seeds to be added to my yard? In summary what I need to know and do for my lawn in yard? Also how about the trees in the yard? Same questions go to trees and bushes in the yard too. | Yousef, There is no need to care for you lawn over the winter. Just keep any fallen leaves raked up so it can get sunlight on mild winter days.
