There really is no simple answer to your question. Not all insecticides are effective against all insects and not all insecticides are safe to use on fruit trees. If your fruit tree has insects, your best course of action is to have them identified and then choose a product that is effective against them but safe for your fruit tree. If you cannot identify the pests, collect a few in a plastic baggie, seal it up, and either take it your local nursery or local cooperative extension for identification. Once you know which pests you're dealing with, read the labels on the insecticides and make sure both your fruit tree and the pest are listed on the label. Best wishes with your fruit tree!
