I do not have a huge budget for planting this year but I still want to add some annuals. Can you suggest a few that will give me the most bang for my buck?

Petunias are a favorite for color all summer and into fall and some varieties will spread to 3 feet or more. Coleus, impatiens, salvia, and verbena all provide reliable color all season long. Also, you can save money by growing some of your annuals from seed, including marigold (Tagetes), morning glory, sunflower and zinnia.
